The system default is to allow substitutions on all products, however you can set substitution preferences for each product individually in the trolley.
To set substitution options:
1. If you do NOT want an individual product to be substituted, go to your main trolley and click on the Add personal shopper notes link, then untick the checkbox that says substitute if not available. Then click close and this preference will be sent to your picker.
2. If you want a particular substitute for a product which is not available, e.g. a different brand, or a different size, you can write a note in the personal shopper notes box to let your pickers know.
Please note, there is no single setting to set substitution preferences for all the items in your trolley at once. Our pickers will always strive to provide the best possible substitutions should one of your items be unavailable, and you will never be charged a higher price. Your driver will explain any substitutions when he / she delivers your order, and you can simply refuse any that you don't want.
